Dr. Feng Du, Teacher of Energy Science and Engineering, Henan Polytechnic University (HPU), China, is a lecturer and master supervisor in mining engineering program. He received his master degree in 2008 from Anhui University of Science & Technology and PhD degree in 2013 from China University of Mining and Technology. In 2017~2018, as a visiting scholar, he ever studied in Department of Mining Engineering under the guidance of Dr. Syd. Peng in West Virginia University, U.S.A.

At present, he has finished 2 projects from the Research Fund of The State Key Laboratory and consulting 1 project from National Natural Science Foundation. and gained 3 Provincial Prize on Science and Technology. He co-authored 2 books and more than 15 journals in the areas of coal mine ground control, and underground pressure. In 2015, He went abroad to attend the 34th International Conference on Ground Control in Mining in American.

Research interests: mainly on mine water disaster prevention, strata movement and ground control.
