OnJuly 9, 2019, invited by Henan Polytechnic University (HPU), the PermanentSecretary of the Ministry of Minerals of Tanzania, Simon Samwel Msanjila andhis entourage visited the School of Energy Science and Engineering (SESE), HPU.Li Xinjuan, Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office , ZhuBaofeng, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office,Li Dongyin, Vice Dean of the School of Energy Science and Engineering, ZhangSheng, Director of the Experimental Engineering Center of Henan MiningEngineering, and some teachers attended the meeting and communication.

Msanjilaand his entourage visited the National Coal Mine Virtual Simulation Experimental Center and the Fully-mechanized Mining and Roadway ExcavationTraining Laboratory in SESE. Associate Professor Wei Shiming and Dr. Wang Shengave a detailed introduction in English. The accompanying staff had a fullcommunication with the guests. The Tanzanian Ministry of Minerals delegation expressed strong interest in the research field of SESE in coal mining and expressed gratitude for the hospitality.

Itis reported that the two sides intend to conduct in-depth cooperation on professional teacher training, professional technical services and international student exchanges.
