Dr. Wei is interest in the area of ground control in coal mining, and has been teaching Strata Pressure & Control, Rock Mechanics since 2004.
Dr. Wei has supervised and participated in more than 25 research grants/contracts form private companies, and province agencies. Together with his collaborators, Dr. Wei has published more than 20 journal papers and conference papers since 2004.
Current research interests:
Theoretical and numerical research in surrounding rock of roadway of dynamic condition or deep mining .
