Dr. YuzhongYANG,Vicedeanof School of Energy Science and Engineering, Henan Polytechnic University (HPU),China, is a professor anddoctoralsupervisorin mining engineering program. He receivedhis master degree in 1999 from HPU and PhD degree from Beijing Institute ofTechnology in 2007.

He has supervised more than 20 researches andconsulting projects from National Natural Science Foundation and Coal Industry GroupCo. Ltd and etc. and gained 5 Provincial Prize on Science and Technology. He authoredand co-authored 11 books and more than 70 journals and proceedings papers inthe areas of mine safety, safety system engineering, and supply chainmanagement.

Research interests: mainly on mine safety and disasterprevention, safety system engineering and modern logistics.
