Mining Engineering (081501)

    Mining engineering program, one of the engineering majors, is a century old superior and national-class featured program, a national-class program comprehensive reform area and the Ministry of Education superior engineering education planning area. Through national engineering education program accreditation, mining engineering is the first class key program in Henan Province. It trains the fundamental theory and method for mining of solid minerals (coal, metal and nonmetal), covering development, planning, mine design, mine monitoring, mine safety production and technical management and produces versatile mining engineers of basic capability. It is a four year program and graduates with a bachelor of engineering.

Industrial Engineering (120701)

    Began in 1999, industrial engineering is one of the management programs. It trains versatile high level professionals with the knowledge and skill of enterprise production management and engineering technical application, capable of comprehensively utilizing the methods and techniques of natural, social and modern management sciences and engaging in production system planning, design, evaluation, and optimization. It is a four year program and graduates with either bachelor of engineering or management.

Transportation Engineering (081802)

    Began in 2006, transportation engineering is one of the transportation engineering majors. It trains versatile high level professionals with the knowledge and skill of transportation engineering regulations, design, construction and control, capable of engaging in systematic planning, engineering design, and construction, and control management in transportation area. It is a four year program and graduates with bachelor of engineering.
